Day #7, 2015

It isn't much fun for One, but Two, Can stick together, says Pooh, says he. "That's how it is," says Pooh. (from Us Two by A.A. Milne)

Writing is a solitary pursuit—that's part of its allure. It's a project over which you have sole control...at least in the early stages, before handing over your beloved words for editing.

Many people find it challenging to carve out the time to sit down and write. Others find it difficult to muster the motivation. And still others are ready for action, but freeze in front of the keyboard, flummoxed as to what to do next.

The solution to these writing waylayers? A writing buddy! Grab a friend (or make a new one) who is part of the 31derful Words challenge and partner up. Whether you choose to check in with one another daily or weekly, in writing or in person, the occasional prodding and cheering you can offer one another may prove invaluable in getting you just that much further along in your pursuit of seeing your project published.

If nothing else, you'll strengthen or forge a friendship...and who knows, maybe even write about the experience later!
